Miscellaneous Billing Customer List
The Miscellaneous Billing module is used for charging customers for services provided by your organization or municipality. Users of the system maintain a customer database. Each person, business or other entity that is invoiced has a unique customer profile.
The Miscellaneous Billing Customer List page allows authorized users to view a list of all existing billing customers, add new customers, or edit or delete existing customers.
To access the Customer List page, go to Financial Management > Miscellaneous Billing > Customers.

To search for all customers in the system, leave the fields blank and click Search. To narrow your search and limit the results, select or enter partial or full values in any or all of the search fields as needed before you click Search.
After you run a search, the Customer List page displays a list of customers that meet your search criteria. Click the Customer Number hyperlink to open and view the existing record.
You can also view the Customer Information by moving the cursor to rest on the Customer Number hyperlink and a pop-up window appears that provides the information.
Click Reset at any time to clear the data in the search fields.

Field | Description |
---|---|
Active Only | Identifies whether the customer record is active. When selected, the customer is active. |
Type | The customer type assigned to the customer. |
Category | The category to which the customer belongs. |
Customer Number | The organization or system-assigned customer number. |
Name/Business | The last name or business name of the customer. |
Contact Address | The customer's address. |
Tax ID | The social security number, federal tax ID, or state tax ID of the customer. |
Driver's License Number | The driver's license number of the customer. |
Internal Customers | Identifies whether the search should include internal customers in the list. |
Inventory Customers | Identifies whether the search should include inventory customers in the list. |
Work Order Customers | Identifies whether the search should include work order customers in the list. |
Email Enrollment Status | Indicates whether or not the customer is enrolled for email notification. Options are Fully Enrolled, Partially Enrolled, and Not Enrolled. |

To add a new customer record click New. To edit an existing customer record, click the Customer Number hyperlink to open the existing record.

To delete a customer record, select it in the list and click Delete.
The Delete button is hidden or disabled if you do not have the appropriate security permissions. If you are authorized, when you click Delete you are prompted to confirm the deletion.

If needed, click Refresh to repopulate and update the list on the page to include any changes made by you or other authorized users.

- To print a report of miscellaneous billing customers, click Print. This Print button is hidden if you do not have the appropriate security permissions.
- Select the criteria you want to include on the report.
- Click OK to submit the listing to myReports.
